This 17th century building houses the Museum of Tropical Research which you can not visit due to restoration works. Only a few rooms are open for exhibitions.

when i see gardens like this i am reminded of the many english mansions/manors i see on movies. how delightful it must be to look out to such greenery.

It is, indeed, a wonderful palace and the gardens are beautiful but the counts need to do something about that awful green water!

I love these shots. Everything reminds me of that palace near Munich where they filmed Last Year at Marienbad. It looks delightful.
