I love trees, I love roots. This is like a maze, absolutely wonderful!

What an amazing root system. It almost looks like it could reach out and grab you.

The roots are reaching out for you, watch out!

Ficus, right? There are many of these in south Florida. It's too cold in the winter here. Amazing trees, but they can be a pain in the rear, too, what with all those roots!

This reminds me of the trees we saw in Sydney, Australia, very similar. They are very attractive. Diane

WOW! Awesome and amazing indeed, JM!! And what a terrific capture! Those endless roots are incredible. Any idea how old that tree is??? Hope you have a great weekend -- don't get tangled in any of those roots!!

What a wonderful shot. As one of your other commenter has observed very much like Australia's Morton Bay Fig trees.

I have always found Ficus trees to be some of the most amazing no matter where in the world they are planted.

Oh WOW! This tree is more creature (benevolent) then plant. I've never seen a root system like that above the ground. It is very inspiring!
