CDP December Theme Day: "My Street"

This is the end of the street where I live.
The aqueduct was built to supply water to the palace of the first Count of Oeiras, the founder of the city of Oeiras (1759)

Wow, not everyone has an aqueduct in their neighborhood.

I don't think there's anyone else in our photo community that has an old aqueduct on their street!

You won my with your aqueduct! Do they use it on ads to sell houses?

Nicely framed shot and no, there's no aqueduct where I live either.

I'm sure Dina and Stefan are right, until the rest of us move onto your street. What a wonderful thing to see every day.

I agree with Dina and Stefan!! Not the usual old home street that most of us have -- let alone with an aqueduct!! I love it!! Great capture for the day, JM!! Hope you enjoy a great weekend!!

I like this! A very classy street what with an aqueduct and all. Now I must ask if you are related to the first Count of Oeiras?

I have history at the end of my street too ( a mill). But nothing like as elegant as this. Does it still hold water?

There's so much history right there at the bottom of your road JM, not many can say that. Love the glimpse of coloured houses in the background.
