Wonderful shot what with those benches up front. But where are all the people? Looks like a rather cloudy, gray day. I thought it was always sunny in Lisbon! :-)

Beautiful plaza. I'm also surprised there aren't more people though. :)

Beautiful plaza shot. But those benches seem a little low to the ground. You might have to pull me up if I settled there for very long!

Excellent symmetry, it leads your eye to the prize.

«Louis» hopes the new year is off to a good start for you, JM! He hasn't visited in quite some time because he has little time for the blog these days.

Stately and formal. I could sit there awhile.

I know where they will end up! :-)

The different architectural styles go well together around the place.

Lisbon has some beautiful public squares. I'm guessing this one - and the street, too - is deserted because it's early in the day?

What an amazing view from those seats.

I think we may have seen this Square from a different angle once before haven't we JM. I would very much like to sit here for a while and watch the people of Lisbon (not in a creepy way haha!)

Well the benches are plainer than those you normally shoot but the view they overlook is stunning. Such lovely symmetry in this shot.
