Great shot of unpleasant realities along what seems to be a beautiful, old walkway.

I wonder if anybody has ever done a study of what makes people who deface public spaces with their weirdo "graffiti". When and how are they doing it, that is another question I ponder when I see scrawls like this.

I do not understand people who spoil and deface buildings and walls. Diane

Serious graffiti indeed, JM! I do hate to see such old and wonderful places being defaced this way! Sad indeed, but unfortunately it does speak for our times -- however badly!!!

Normally graffiti like this would not bother me, but against such a gorgeous and incredibly old background it really is sad.
