such an interesting mood in this. nicely done, jm.
Strange indeed. And those clouds sitting on the horizon look like another world.
You do get some interesting shots. I can't get it large enough to make a guess...well, I guess I can guess: if it was in the Gulf of Mexico I'd guess it's an oil rig. Maybe it's the frame of a houseboat going to a new mooring to be completed? Maybe it's a cage for humpback whales?You were on a tear this morning what with all the comments! Thank you! I enjoyed them very much! Hope your weekend is filled with fun and more great photos like this because I love it - the colors, the sky that drapes like a huge blanket over the scene and the clouds in the background that look like mountains rising from the sea!
That is a very strange thing. I loved Lowell's description of the clouds. The do look like snow-capped mountains rising from the sea.
Interesting it is!!! I do love the clouds on the horizon!! Stunning backdrop!! Hope your weekend is going well, JM!!
Are they drilling for oil? The sea and cloudscape is wonderful.
On a clear day we can look north over our waters and see distant mountains that look like these clouds. They're a nice touch in this shot. And the structure made me want to pull out my binoculars to see if I could figure out what it is. No, wait. I can't do that. It's a photo. . . :-}
Great view, strange vessels, funny title!
interesting, great grey sky :)
It looks like a miniature oil rig!
A bridge to nowhere? Fascinating, Look at those amazing clouds!
If you don't know what it is, JM, I sure can't help you!
That huge sky is amazing!
aww foto mais linda! Léia
Very strange indeed. It reminds me of similar looking boats off the coast of Penang.
