Not sure if I believe in some special energy emitted by such things. But whenever I see such an ancient and solid baptismal font, I do put a hand on it for a few minutes. Just trying to imagine the generations of people who touched the water there . . .

The light in the alcove gleaming from the whitewash is almost angelic. The dark tiles seem to make it even brighter. What a perfect place to a christening.
