Churches are always a great source for murals ... and this one is no exception.
That is a lovely piece with a lovely doorway surrounding it!
Oh well, if you show this kind of beauty for murals, I don't think anyone can compete!
I'd guess this is a very old building. And I've always thought it interesting that Orthodox icons are so often depicted with those full "halos."
