I think all these fancy "different" hotels are beginning to look the same.

Sometimes I wonder with modern architecture as avant garde as it seems and no matter how magnificent, at times it seems to be mainly a great and needless waste of materials.

This is magnificent. But I'll bet it's expensive.

I'm going on break as I mentioned, but will be posting occasionally on L&L Photography - blog.

Take good care!

I know this tower and I saw it personally some years ago. Nice shots with this deep blue sky. Greetings.

Wow, that is quite a building. It looks like something one might see in Dubai!

For a moment I thought you might be sharing a holiday snap. Quite a amazing bit of architecture. Nice shot!

Such a contrast to the many old structures which you show us. I like it.

A surprising building to see after the traditional ones. It's very striking, moreso with the clear blue skies.

It is quite dramatic and it appeals to me, but the part of me that is rational doesn't understand why the hotel would put so much expense into parts that don't serve a purpose or yield an economic return.

Architect has lacked rectangular rulers :)
In fact, I like this creation.
