In need of some TLC but I would rather like it with the balcony and terrace. Those gutters haven't been cleaned for a while and I am sure the ceilings in the upper floor need replacing. Even so, 30 years younger and I would even learn more Portuguese . . . the only word I know is obrigado.

How much is it? And how much would the renovations cost? And does it have granite countertops and stainless appliances?

Never mind, I'm too old to move again! :)

Nice-looking building for sure!

If Arija would come along, I'd move right in!

(Now, where did I put my pocket change?)

Jep, I buy right away that wonderful home - as soon as I'll win the lottery.
You have lots of beautiful buildings and houses.

The whole building or the penthouse apartment? Either way, looks like it's worth checking out.

Unknown said...

@Sharon: I think it's the whole building.

It is a gem indeed! Hope they can get a good price for it, but who knows these days???? And, yes, if I could win the lottery, I'd be there with a check in hand!! Hope your week is going well, JM! Enjoy!

Love it - I hope someone comes and buys it because it's a beautiful place!

If it comes with that terrace, I'm ready to put in an offer! If only I spoke Portuguese. ;-)

Very nice. How much without renovation? :-)

@Lowell, VP and Ciel: I have no idea how much it costs but it's worth a fortune for sure. And the view from up there has to be fantastic!

I'd buy it if I had the money.

For the right person with plenty of money, this looks like a fantastic place.

We have Sotheby's here and it looks like the price is $185,000. I am not sure what that converts to in U.S currency but if its the same place the interior is nice.

@Randy: It's impossible to cost what you mention, that's the common price of an nice apartment. This house will cost between 1 and 3 million Euros for sure.

Esa fachada es una maravilla. Siempre he admirado el arte de decorar con cerámica en Portugal.
Un beso.

I would if I could just for those painted tiles!

The most treasured part of the building are the tiles. (I'll bet there were some inside, too!)
