What a beautiful vehicle to take me up the hill, I would not have to do any puffing at all! Pity about the graffiti though to despoil those pretty tiles.

I love the fake tile look but, too bad about the graffiti.

It looks beautiful with the tiles, what a pity about the vandalism! No respect for art and national property!

I can't imagine the weight if these were real tiles. I think these are amazing, even with the graffiti

Fools! What a lovely idea it was to tile the tram.

Great idea, but it didn't last: hate those tags!

I agree with the others, such a great idea for the tram and it is sad to see the graffiti!! It's so common everywhere these days!! Terrific capture as always, JM! Enjoy your weekend!

Wow, beautiful vehicle, but too bad about the graffiti! How is this possible??? Are they not parked in a garage at night?

I do not understand why people have no respect for articles or history. I just wonder how they were brought up!! Diane

Oy, if only people could leave well enough alone! It is a sweet funicular and beautifully decorated (not the graffiti).

How mean is that? I wonder if anyone has ever talked to those vandals, where do those destructive vibes come from. Great trompe l'oeil, it is impossible to see those tiles are only an illusion.

This is so sad. It was a great idea for the owner of the vehicles (the municipality?) to dress them up, and it is even sadder to see the mess that the taggers have made. I really dislike tagging.

That's fun!

I wouldn't have known they were fake tiles. It's a great tram, though, and so sad it's been defaced.

I really like the tiles even if they're fake. The tagging not so much.

Gosh even the funicular is beautiful in Lisbon :)

Never saw something like this! Great (fake!) tiles. What a pity that there were some sprayer "at work".
