Ornately elegant! Such richness in woods and cloth! One wonders what important decisions were made in this room in years gone by.

I think the word elegant describes this perfectly.

A sitting room--rectangle table, round table, decisions to be made. Very ornate. MB

Ornate chairs sometimes disagree with soft butts.

There is quite a lot to see in this room.

Such opulence! Of course, the artistry is magnificent. However, I just finished watching "The Tudors," and have a different "perspective" when regarding such incredible wealth and the means by which it is/was acquired. But, that's just me, and it doesn't diminish your gorgeous photography.

Very beautiful but a little fancy for me.

Professional quality architectural/decorative photography, but so hard for Americans to relate to. Opulent beyond our so-called Gilded Age.

Gorgeous room, great captures.
Still, makes me feel uncomfortably warm looking at all that upholstery. ;-)
