"Summer Challenge"

MUDE-Museum of Design and Fashion at downtown Lisbon

Some very good temporary exhibitions can currently be seen in this amazing space, including a tribute to Elsa Schiaparelli. Stupidly taking photos inside is not allowed.

Such a shame no inside shots JM, from the outside it looks like it would be a fantastic exhibition.

Those must be some kind of racing skiffs, 'cause they're not like our kayaks. The shot reminds me of Dick's Sporting Goods which lines their keyaks up outside the store.

Very colorful photo!

I agree that it's stupid not to allow photos inside. How an taking pictures be harmful?

I guess we are all in accord at disliking the ban on photos. I have seen, however, in many museums people who take stealth photos with small hidden cameras. Many times I wish that I had had one!

Love the colors. Now let's get down to the water and zip around. MB

Colorful boats and a great shot! I agree with you, too, that it's pretty dumb not to allow taking photos inside!! What's the harm???? Have a wonderful weekend, JM! Enjoy!

I'm sure there must be a name for those colorful boats but, I've never seen anything like them. But, I bet they can whiz across the water at great speeds if you have the arms and upper body strength to row them. I bet I would love this exhibition.

I thought nobody remembered Elsa Schiaparelli, she died when I was still in school and didn't do much in her later years... I would love to take some picture inside: you are going to try, please!

I prefer to respect the rules of others, but find no photo rules senseless. And recall some years ago standing in a crowd several rows deep to see the Mona Lisa - a no photo zone - and having trouble seeing her because so many people were holding up cameras to take her picture.
