Some things you don't mind seeing in a state of decay and it will be better when they're gone but these kinds of buildings with that beautiful tile work should be restored to all their former glory!
I do agree with Lowell, in spite of these still being beautiful even in decay, I would so love to see them restored! They're too incredible to lose! Wonderful captures as always, JM!! Hope your week is going well!

Hay muchas obras de arte por las calles portuguesas, que se estan perdiendo.
Un beso
I liked it until I saw the wide shot ... they looks so sad.
oh, that's a shame. looks like so much detail being lost.
Beautiful tile on the verge of ruin.

I am much more sorry for this decay than for the one I posted today...
Wow...these are such beautiful shots. I love the decaying blue. Or blues..
Sad to see these tiles decay!
Oh that's terrible. It just makes me mad.
Nice find!
Ouch. This is not good.
How beautiful it was sometimes. It's a shame that the time ruin all the beauty - and people.
They're like old roses JM, beautiful right to the end !
This hurts to see. You'd think some local museum would take these tiles off the wall to preserve them. Otherwise their fate is sealed.
