The Lisbon Cathedral (1150) was very damaged after the 1755 Earthquaque but didn't collapse and still stands out among the late 18th century buildings that surround it.
A grand building it is and amazing to have continued to look as good as it does considering how long ago that earthquake was! A great shot for the day, JM!

It looks quite distinguished and regal among all the other buildings! Another beautiful photo!
The expression "Sticks out in a crowd" comes to mind.
What a joy to see that the romanesque cathedral was a survivor standing solid amongst her minions latecomers.
Lovely photo JM.
It certainly stands out among the colorful houses and roof tops.
ADoro os telhados, uma cidade repleta de charme!

Especially interesting with the cranes in the background and all the tile roofs are beautiful.
it does stand out here.
It seems more unusual that all of the other buildings are from the same period. Most places seem to have buildings from many different times.
Wonderful rooftop shot.
It sits like a tough almond in a neighborhood of sherbet-colored buildings.
Beautiful and regal.
Late 18th century is already amazing to me, but 12th century? It's mind-boggling!
great viaw , hope the cathedral will last more centuries :)
