I remember seeing those tall cupboards at local grocery stores in the small villages of Portugal, and they used to keep flour, etc that sold by weight in those bins at the bottom. Lovely to see them again!

You've captured a 'feast' for the eyes here.

This store is beautifully arranged. I'll bet I could find all kinds of things to buy in here.

What I like is that this place is so unique - it's not a chain store (I hope!) where everything is the same as you could buy in any part of the world.

Your photos are sharp, colorful and entertaining as usual!

Oh, a feast for the eyes indeed, JM!! What wonderful, colorful store!! I would love to spend time (and money, too, I'm sure) there!! Terrific shots for the day as always!! Wishing you and your family a very Happy, Beautiful New Year!! Enjoy!

@Lowell: These are old Portuguese brands brought back to life that you can hardly find elsewhere. There only are three 'A Vida Portuguesa' (The Portuguese Life) shops in Portugal, so you can't consider it a chain store.

The idea is charming, even romantic. If someone were to open a store called Missouri Life I think it would feature Budweiser and McDonalds.
