We love Moorish architecture and wish it was copied more often.
There is a beachfront mansion called Casa Marrakech about a block down the street from our condo on Playa Langosta in Tamarindo that adapts Moroccan/Moorish architecture for use as a beach house. It is spectacular. It was designed by Abraham Valenzuela, the same Costa Rican architect who designed our two condos.

This is a beautiful and well-designed courtyard.
This is just beautiful. I thought for a moment you were showing us something from Morocco.
You do indeed find the loveliest places and get such terrific captures, JM, and this is a great example of both!! Enjoy your weekend!
A beauty.
A great building! Did you already post a bench from this place?
absolutely eye candy. wanna see and be in one.
@VP: Yes, I did! :-)
Amazing photo.
Oh my! I love this shot!!
Stunning! Moorish architecture is rare in this part of the U.S. Nicely framed shot.
What a beautiful place. I like all of the details.
Every picture you post invites me to Lisbon.
How utterly lovely and peaceful! The Moors certainly knew how to build.
Beautiful place and shot!
Happy week-end, JM !
Parece un patio árabe. Estupendo encuadre!!
To me this looks a bit like Arabian style.
Pretty no matter what the style is called.
Another gorgeous place, perfectly framed.
Wow, that is such an exquisite design. The palm trees are the perfect accent. And the way you composed and framed your shot works beautifully.
