This piece is so ambiguous it's hard to know what to think. The stenciling is very cool, the girl is darling, and the man quite menacing. Is she in danger like the girl in Frankenstein? Does her innocence protect her? What exactly are his intentions? Even without a clear narrative, the mural is amazingly engaging. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural. And a happy holiday to you.

Banksy?
@Luiz: Actually it looks like Banksy, but I'm sure it isn't. I think I would have known if he was around here. :-)
Love the promenade and the stencil!
i immediately thought of banksy, too.
the title fo this piece could be "give peace a chance."
wishing you and your family a very merry christmas and a productive new year.
@Photo Cache: If this was Facebook I would have put a "Like" on your comment regarding the title. :-)
Its a bit grimm. But somebody decided that portugal could use a bit from this. Thanks for showing.
I like it a lot! A perfect message for us all, JM!
Looks like a Bansky to me.
Looks like hard times and strong graphics in Portugal.
