Almost Back To Normal

... but some weather specialists say we might have a new "Black Swell" within a week or so. I hope they're wrong.
Here's a photo gallery of the waves along the Portuguese coast on Jan 6.

Looks like you have the same as us with the weather, hope you have not been getting so much rain though

The Portuguese weather has not been in the news at all here in Germany. All we hear about it the cold spell in N. America and Michael Schumacher.
Hope you are safe. Those high waves sound scary!

Those waves are almost like a storm of tsunamis. It's beyond belief. (And the U.S. has a huge population of people who consider climate change a political hoax.)

I love to listen to waves as the crash into the shore. But they do look scary!

Are those waves the kind that surfers like?

Yes, lovely, nice catch!

They keep replaying the people running from the waves on our news. It looks so scary - hope it doesn't happen again!

It seems the weather has been going a bit "crazy" lately! I do hope the next round of bad weather doesn't materialize in Portugal. Here in Perth we are bracing for 43 degrees C on Saturday, a bit of a record since the 42C on the 26th Dec 2007! And some northern towns in WA will reach the 50 mark!!

I never pay much attention to weather forecasters. It can be very unpredictable..

Wow, those are very dangerous waves!

I've heard nothing of this in news reports in the US. We are self-centered and are only interested in our own cold and snow. Hope I don't see anything like this when I confront the Pacific in just over a week.

You had a little zunami. Hope it will not come again.
I looked those photos, some was fantastic, especially I liked the lighthouse in the middle of the waves.
hugs
