Before The Storm

Carcavelos Beach

This shot was NOT taken today. Today the weather is awful, there are giant waves, floods everywhere, very strong winds, it's snowing up north and this is what we might expect over the next few days: Atlantic Code Red Incoming

That is a scary scenario indeed, JM! I surely shouldn't complain about our gray cold weather -- it isn't stormy and dangerous like yours. Do keep us updated! I'll be holding good thoughts!

It's probably a much scarier scene today. I looked at that storm map and it's heading right toward you.

I know how you feel JM, we are being hammered with weather here in the UK too.
Be safe !

Perhaps you should take cover and hunker down for awhile. We've had unusually cold weather and lots of rain but nothing like what you're going through. This is a powerful photograph expressing the power of Mother Nature!

Beautiful shot, but having all those arrows pointed at you is bad news. Stay safe and warm!

Those big clouds rolling by are really a powerful part of this image I like it a lot and especially the light. Thank you for sharing with us.

It is a great photo, JM. I clicked on the link and am shocked at the storm system that is approaching Europe. Be safe!

Abraços
Léia

Epic image! We are having one of the warmest and most mild winters I've ever experienced out here. Our surf is flat and no skiing locally. But, I wouldn't wish such powerful storms as you experienced on any coast. Hopefully, all residents and travelers are safe.
