Old Pergola

Jardim Municipal, the downtown Oeiras park

This is the first time I actually see the pergola. It was totally covered with Bougainvillaea and I hope it grows again to its former glory.

Oh it definitely will Jose, that's one thing I've learned about Bougainvillea in my garden.. it always comes back :) I see it's a sunny 27C for you today, how lovely.. enjoy!

I'm sure it will. Bougainvillea has a very good growth rate. Mine have been trimmed within an inch of their lives and they always come back.

It's beautiful, but I can just imagine how much more beautiful it would be with the Bougainvillaea!! Hope you have a great weekend, Jose! Enjoy!!

Beautiful!

We have such structures here, but I've never heard them with that term used.
