A lovely scene you have painted with your camera. If I remember correctly, the Sagres was the ship that appeared in the Columbus movie that I used in teaching American history.

We have some training ships like this for the US Navy, but I have never understood what value the training is in a modern navy. I suspect it is just an excuse for the government to pay the upkeep to preserve these old ships.
