Decay (CV)

18th century building at downtown Lisbon
The sign tells us the building is under restoration. Really?

Restoration sometimes takes a long time.

Well, it is a beautiful facade and the building really needs some restauration... a red poster is good to start...
Love the "garden" on the roof.

I just realised that cv means you have posted over 100 of these. I like blue and brown together.

Maybe they started on the inside first.

I do hope it will be restored. I like these beautiful old structures. Perhaps you will show us the finished project some day.

The tiles are indeed pretty. Such a shame it's not being taken care of.

Is it possible to renovate this anymore. I hope it's possible, beacause it's been a really beautiful building.

A building with handsome bones, but obviously the "restoration" is taking a little longer than was planned, perhaps. Maybe money got tight?

Is it true that German spies lived in this building during WWII?

Decay has a beauty all of its own, but will be interesting to see the restoration update.

It's going to take a lot of work!

I love that tile work. I hope to see it after it's done.

Hahahaha... maybe they are just having trouble finding workers. I know this problem very well right now!

Nice to see that it's being restored.

We all have signs like that on buildings, but this one really deserves something more!

More disheartening to me than the missing tile, is the grass growing along the roof line. Fingers crossed the building will be returned to its former glory.

Oh I hope they restore those tiles. That is one of the main features I loved in Portugal. Diane
