Chapel Of Our Lady Of The Conception

Conceição Beach, Cascais
The chapel on the right, although damaged by the Great Earthquake in 1755, survived the tsunami that followed it.

The chapel is lovely, but it looks quite out of place amid the other buildings...

A tiny world of its own and a true survivor! Beautiful capture, Jose, as always! Have a great new week!!

It a beautiful little building and so close to the sea. It's amazing that it survived.

Another beautiful scene.
We finally decided where to do our big golf tour this year. I was pushing to go back to Algarve, but this year it will be Spain. Anyway, I need to visit Lisbon and not for golfing!

Earthquakes? Tsunamis? Man, you guys get EVERYTHING. Any tornados or volcano eruptions? (Appealing little chapel.)
