Well ... it is ageing, but not all that gracefully. I guess there are some things that we just have to watch age themselves back from whence they came ... like human beings ... and like this, which I imagine to be perhaps a bath-house. I actually find all the mould to be very attractive.
Thank you for this contribution to our Theme Day. Your image proves to me that things do not have to be pretty to be beautiful.
How great to see you online again, Jose!! You've been missed!! And what a wonderful post and photos for the day!! Amazing and beautiful tiles and so typical of your beautiful country! Thanks as always for sharing! Have a great new week!!
Sem dúvida nenhuma, um ótimo lugar que tenho que conhecer em minha próxima viagem a Lisboa! Quero ter mais tempo para descobrir coisas assim... Lindas fotos!
I could be sad that this beautiful place is in declining physical condition, but instead I will be happy that it still exists and is just awaiting someone to rehabilitate it.

Those tiles are amazing!I'm wondering how old they are. And the statue too.
What a gorgeous place.
Nature is encroaching.
Good to see you back. This is really beautiful, I hope someone looks after it and restores it before it is no more. Have a good day Diane
A really great post, and even though the beauty is rugged, it's still there. What a great place to explore.

This is a fine example of aging can be fascinating.
It may be ageing, but this spot is kinda beautiful none the less
A perfect place for lunch... 10 tables and some sun and this would work. Am I dreaming?
Gloriously fading.
That's a brilliant photo for this Ageing theme day.
I just knew you would have something special for us Jose.. Your ageing/decaying photos have always had an air of bygone elegance, I love them.
This just shows that age can be beautiful.
Like travelling into a secret, blue and beautiful garden...
This is beautiful. As always, I love the tile work and those columns are wonderful.
Ageing is not always bad...

You are back - hurray! You know I love seeing these aging tiles, JM!
There is a lot of ageing in Lisbon and this is a wonderful example. Just love those worn azulejos!

Lindas fotos!
Abraços,

I'd like to look that good when I get that old. You have such amazing tile work in your country.
Hola de nuevo viejo amigo, que sitios tan bellos nos muestras.
Un abrazo
There is definitely a sense of aging and a tad of 'decay' too? Super photo as ever.
So wonderful to see your post. Perfect for the theme day.

Your city is far older than anything here. This shows an artistic heritage going back centuries.
Happy to see you back.
Worn as this place is, there's still something greatly appealing about it.
How did you choose? ... you have so many ancient treasures you have shown over the years.
Nice choice though ... tiles, garden setting ... lovely.
Cela me fait plaisir de retrouver tes images.... Ce jardin est merveilleux
Beautiful old.
Hugs
Aging, decaying, yet still beautiful.
Great theme day post, José !
