National Coach Museum

Royal Riding Arena (1787) at Belém, Lisbon

The new (and huge) coach museum is about to open doors. I guess this will be my last post on this place.

Ah the grandeur.
So there are enough coaches to fill a huge new museum? Cool!

I've always enjoyed seeing your photos of this beautiful museum and the wonderful carriages. Newer and bigger? It's hard to imagine!

Oh I'm glad you showed this. We didn't do any museum visits because of lack of time.

Gorgeous coaches and a beautiful venue.
Do they plan to bring back riding exhibitions to the arena?

I think I had visit this museum when I was in you city many years ago, in Christmas time. I remember the nice looking new year Rond cake, with colored sugar Fruits. ( fruits confis ). Bring one home, but it has become a little dry by know ! Love you city. Everywhere I go, I visit as match as I can ! Better to travel, most of the time, alone. Ma friends are leasy to get up early.
I remember, I was waiting for the tram in one of your street. A person guess it and say *you can wait for a long time. no more tram are passing along ! I would still be there waiting !!!

I'd love to go visit. It makes me think of the Royal Barge Museum on the river outside of Bangkok. Similar idea.

This one looks so pretty for a museum, like a palace.
