Those tiles are quite pretty, pity that corner is so neglected.

It is still lovely indeed, Jose, but it is sad that it has been so neglected. Have a great new week!!

Perhaps because it is neglected it is so lovely? A quiet corner for only those in the know.

It looks very, very old.

And if you talk to the politicians they would say there's just no money to take care of things like this but I'll bet you wouldn't find run-down fountains or any other run-down things on their personal property.

It feels like it has been there a very long time.

@Fotolosopher: There's no need to go to their personal properties. The most beautiful palaces are occupied by politicians whether it's their official residences or their offices, where everything is shining and a "batallion" of servants, drivers, security guards, gardeners, etc., is there to serve them. Austerity? That's for the people, not for them who keep living like little kings!

The water looks uninviting, even for the birds.

At least it has been kept up well enough to be refurbished some day.

HI Jose, I've been gone for a while and what a feast of images for me to enjoy here. This one is my favourite and another further down which I will comment on too.
