Downtown Lisbon
The very typical Pastel de Bacalhau (plural: Pastéis) is made of potatoes, bacalhau (codfish), eggs, parsley and other ingredients. It's deep fried and served before meals or as a meal itself usually with tomato rice. Here's the recipe.

Love it! Didn't know of the existence of this shop though...
The ones with the "Serra cheese" must be to die for!
A beautiful place! I had not heard about this delicacy, but would love to give it a try!
This sounds very tasty! I'd love to try one.
Looks delicious! And the place is pretty fancy too, esp for this kind of street food.
I love the look of this place and the pastel sounds tasty, JM!
It does look and sound delicious and I would love to try it, too -- even more this morning as I haven't had breakfast!! Thanks as always, Jose, for sharing!! Hope your week is off to a great start! Enjoy!
I don't go for seafood, but I like the look of the place!
The place looks great and I remember quite well the pastel...
It's the total package for me. When do we eat?
Cruel. I'm hungry but sick. While I have dried salted bacalhau and potatoes, I don't have the other ingrédients. Plus I'm too tired to cook...
I would like to go back to Portugal/Lisbon for the many yummy eats.
Wow that those look tasty.
Sounds delicious! Thanks for the recipe link.
Sounds and looks delicious. The shop is beautiful.
My wife tried dried bacalhau during our one brief visit to Lisbon. I wasn't brave enough but the place didn't look this elegant.
Sounds tasty. And what a gorgeous bakery!
