Pawnbroker

According to the sign (PENHORES) there's a pawnbroker shop in this downtown Lisbon building. A business that might have flourished after four years of imposed austerity on people.

There was a big pawn broker business near where I used to live and they were also doing a lively business a few years ago. They are still in business so I think they still do a brisk trade.

It seems there is always some who make a living from the less fortunate. I must say, it's a beautiful building.

Pawnbrokers seem to do well in all times but especially during down times. I remember when you could visit a pawn shop and get some really good deals. Then they got computers. Now, there are no more "deals."

Maybe I should pawn some of my old film cameras? Nah. They'll be antiques soon!

I think I have seen this building on my Lisbon images as well. Such a great city and architecture.

The buildings are so beautiful. I could look at them for hours.

Pawnbrokers seem more like over-priced antique stores here.

The blue building behind also looks formidable.

The blue is a stunning contrast to the building beside it.

This is an interesting blue color. The building owners seem to love color.
