Lovely houses. A bargain now perhaps with less people buying.

I love the bright colours of the houses.

I do like the colourfully restored houses. However, it saddens me to think that the houses in yesterday's post could have a similar makeover and that these houses began life in the more subdued colours of nature. Maybe that is progress.

In this kind of market, I suppose it's time to go bargain hunting for those with an oversized wallet...

Seems to be some nice restoration work, keeping the style "as it was"!

I like the vivid red, yellow and blue. Were yesterday's buildings once as intensely-colored as these?

Even with the crisis prices are still very high! It's true that less people are buying but maybe that will change as Euribor is going down everyday now. Don't expect to find a bargain here as everything is more expensive on this coast.

White, pink and beige/yellowish are the regular colours on portuguese old architecture; these are a bit over the top, I guess, but fashionable nowadays.

Interesting contrast with the photos from yesterday. The colors are beautiful, but I must say that I love the old faded architecture and more subdued colors. Seems a bit more in keeping with the tradition, but maybe that's just me.

Can foreigners buy them??
