en regardant la première photo, on imagine pas la fleur comme sur la deuxième photo. Elle est très belle.
by looking at the first photo, imagine the flower as the second picture. She is very beautiful.

These have a common name. For the life of me all that comes to mind is cardinal flower or paradise flower but those are not it. Anyway, they are beautiful.

I think we call these Birds of Paradise. My grandma used to have them in her garden. Aren't those colors amazing?! Great photos JM :)

Yes, here in Australia too: Bird of Paradise or Strelitzia. They are frequently found mass planted in parks. Gorgeous photos JM and very healthy looking plants.

Nice photos of an appealing plant. I used to have a big clump in my garden but sadly they were removed during some landscaping.

I used to see these Birds of Paradise in my childhood in southern California, but they don't do so well up north. I love the colors.

That's an amazing flower. Yep, we call it a Bird of Paradise, and I ONCE saw a real plant in Florida at Thanksgiving.

Bird of Paradise. I have these in my side yard. Beautiful plants and flowers, but they are tough to get rid of--they keep coming back.
