A good example

Modern architecture can really fit in an old neighbourhood. This condominium stands next to the house shown on the previous post.

Nice idea, I love seeing how new architecture can fit in with the surroundings. By the way, I nominated you for a Kreativ Blogger award! Visit my site to find out more.

The building materials have so much to do with harmonizing the old with the new. You show that beautifully.

JM - you do such a good job with your photographs! What you see and picture so sharply, provides us with a wonderful view of your world.

I think one reason this "modern" building fits in is because it has retained some aspects of the older architecture.

Lovely. I"d move right in wouldn't you JM? Glad to see that the architecture of the neighborhood is taken into consideration.

Yes, it's nice to see some consideration around modern construction. Thanks!

Every comment seems to agree that the condo is a style that merges well with the old. It's interesting to me to see how we seem to want harmony in our lives.

Yes, it looks villa style. Would be great if the surrounding existing buildings were always taken into account.

Thanks for showing the pair. I immediately loved the older building but think the new ones are pretty nice too. I like the 'warm weather' feel of the buildings.
