Without the sun you can see into the water instead of just seeing glare. Lovely.

Days with less sun are often the best for great photos as you show us here. You've got everything right in this shot...exposure, sharpness, color, composition! Superb!

And the next time you come to Florida, plan to stay for awhile...it's a huge state and the differences between Miami and the north central part of the state are quite significant.
