So was there water running through it or is there now? It is very neat and old looking. MB

SCS and Marley,Yes, the aqueduct was the the water suply to the Palace in the 18th century. I don't believe it works anymore.
Looks fairly preserved... And it was the private water supply of the Palace? Quite decadent. (;
