The red leaves of Autumn have already started to fall in Eagan, too!

The threat of fire seems to be a worldwide curse.

I like the texture look.

There are some leaves on the ground here but thankfully no fires.

Same problem here. Though, we have been spared the fires for now, California has been hit hard.

It seems strange to me to see so many dried leaves so early.

From what I hear from friends and family it's the same way in California.
Your picture shows us that fall is coming.

such detail and texture. We do not have many leaves fall in the Valley. We have to travel north to experience the colors and autumn that you are already taking photos of. We are not expecting any fall colors until at least late October. I am glad you liked the Packard photo on my site today. Such a classic

Nice shot , sounds like autumn but it's only dryness ! Thanks to the fire fighters !

This could be an autumn picture... Hope the firemen are not working too hard, otherwise it means people are in trouble somewhere...
God bless you!

The same story here, a couple of days of rain would be welcome!

These fallen leaves are going to tell us autumn comes to northern hemisphere. Since we are antipodean, spring is coming! Hooray! (;

Right now there is a weird mix of autumn and spring here. I still see some trees losing their leafs, though with the Indian summer we had in the past days, some trees have started blooming.

Lovely lighted flowers, JM.

I feel for you. Central Florida is usually hit with numerous forest fires during the summer months, but this year we've had a lot of rain and so, less fires.

But, there's always a danger.

...and the rest of us need to be careful out there.

I can almost hear the sound of footsteps on these leaves.

There are bushfires burning in Australia already ... starting way to early ... it could be a bad season. Hopefully they will go away for a while once the August winds die down.

I had no idea that it was a concern for you all there as well. OUr blog friends in California are suffering. So many more people to personally care about now that my world has expanded via my blog. Nature can be both beautiful and frightening.
