The header is another bullseye!!! Wow. This guy looks like he's holding his head in his hands. Maybe so what with all that industrial action going on inthe background! V
I'm with V: he looks like he has his head in his hands to protect from all the racket behind him. I have a little bit of working waterfront within walking distance of my house which I must get down to over the next couple of weekends.
Interesting statue, and another excellent composition. Methinks Lisbon harbor is a very busy place! Most likely, it's been a very busy place for centuries!

bien vu, on dirait que la grue coupe la tête de la statue, le moderne écrase le passé
Love this shot, JM. The posture of the sculpture works perfectly with the cranes in the background.
Love your splendid new header!!
Excellent!

Nice composition and the title is really appropriate:)
Why does the past appeal to me more readily that the present?
Creative juxtaposition, perfect title. Any way to see a little more of the harbor?
Linda escultura e perfeito contraste com o rítmo de crescimento moderno da cidade!
Léia :)
You forget the contrast of art and industry. Fantastic image!
The scenery of Lisbon is very beautiful.
It is a splendid combination with the art.
