The roof line has a Chinese flair, and the tile used for the facade of this and other Portuguese buildings amazed and delighted me on our visit to Portugal.

How did they find time and wish not only to build but to give unique face to every building? They had no mobiles, cars, internet, technology, they put huge effort to this precise and hard work with every house face and body, and it turned out great!
The window is very attractive, especially sitting atop that tiled house! Love those tiles! I wonder what's behind the window - an attic, as some have suggested?

The building has shades of a Moorish feel to it. It looks as though the top window was an after thought.
Cheers.

I've always loved houses with attics ... we don't have a lot of them around here.
