Wow!! I wish I was there now........... its snowing here again :( Very peaceful photo. Its almost if i live in Russia ........... LOL Not normal for THE NETHERLANDS !!
This has an incredible sense of movement to it, JM. And a sense that something is about to happen, someone or something about to enter the frame. Amazing.
Like a scene from the edge of the known world. Actually you do have a place called something like Finisterra, right? Where pilgrims from the Camino throw their ragged clothes into the sea.

Beaches always look so inviting even on cloudy days!

It looks like during the winter there is no one to sweep the sand off the steps.
I wish I could walk barefoot on that beach! It's minus 25 degrees Celsius here in EAGAN - maybe even too cold to go outdoors for ice-skating!

Beautiful. Wish I was climbing those stairs.
Cloudy or not, it's still incredibly inviting!
It doesn't look VERY winter! Lovely:)
Even with the winter light it is inviting!!
All my best wishes for this new year.
Shifting sands. Love the beach and this looks wonderful. When the tide is in does the water come all the way to the bulkhead? MB
Nice composition. Your winter look is a lot different than mine - it's snowing where I live :)
It might be wintery but the footprints suggest there have been plenty of people who have walked down to that beach.

the steps are almost covered up, I had to really look to see what they were.
No snow on your beach....
Nice shot, and to me quite esthetic composition.
Ah magnificent!
Very beautiful capture.
