Wow, what a house! Just wanted to tell you that although I follow your blog, your photos always pop out to me on CDPB, so when I click on the photo to get a better look, I notice that it's you!
JM, I love the shapes and colours of this shot. You've managed to pack in lot into a small photo frame. Happy Easter.
Impressive house!Happy Easter tou you:)
Fairy tale castle... Happy Easter weekendELeonora
Wonderful house and a great angle of your photo.Wish you a great day:-)
This is fascinating...private house? It looks more like a castle, but I guess a castle is usually a private house. Very impressive and sturdy and I would guess it would stand up well to the bad guys and the elements!Happy Easter, JM!
Ya, house or castle. Wow, lots of wall space w/o windows too. Cool!
Very impressive. what a house. I wonder how it is decorated inside. MB
Maybe a private castle!! I would love to go inside. Happy Easter to you.
So stark for Oeiras!
If you have read the books or seen the movie, this castle/house looks like somewhere the Baudelaire children would have an adventure in "The Series of Unfortunate Events." If I ever make it to Portugal, this black roofed place is high on my list of "must see" places.JanGDP
That is quite a big home!
Oh..I'd hate to loose my cat up there (lol)..exceptional find! What a story it must tell!
A very very interesting house, to say the least!
wow, i'd love to see the entire house, inside and out. it looks enormous and quite ornate.
It looks more a fortress than a house, the black roof is beautiful but with the greyness of the rest of the building a dark red would have been more appropriate.
The whole house looks beautiful
That house looks really cool! I love that roof & nice contrast w/ the white
I'd love to own that building!-Dean
