Oh, I like how you combined the two art forms (I'm assuming the statue and print are separate?), it has a very distressing tone to it which is captivating. Looks like an interesting show.
This is very unique and I like it.
I like the new design and color of your blog.A New Yorker at the CCB!!!
Very stark and eye-catching piece. But as is usual when I encounter pieces like this, I want to read the exhibit notes so I can make sense of it. ;) I hope you had a beautiful Easter Sunday, Jose!
This is really interesting..leave it to you to find something like this!I forgot to tell you, the new look of your page is terrific!
Impressionnante la première photo, une photo d'Apocalypse
Very cool. I kinda like it. MB
Very powerful, even if I don't understand the title.
wonderfully intriguing images.
Very dramatic even if I don't quite understand the meaning of the art!
Wonderful piece of art :-)Really cool ...
Love it and love R.W. Fassbinder.
I think there is a story here. Great composition in the close up shot.
Great art and photos. And I like your new look on the blog too:-)
I also like Fassbinder movies, Ciel! :-)
Nice shots JM! I really like the new look on your blog too.
Longo is exercising all arts... photos, sculptures. This is a perfect illustration of what he's able to do!
Yes, Peter, this is from his 'Combines' period (1982/83).
Is the statue bronze? If so it's not only a beautiful piece, it's a miracle of physics and balance, there is no pedestal!!Ciao,ELeonora
Not my kind of stuff, even for the period. Isn't he the husband of Barbara Sukowa, one of Fassbinder's favorite actresses?
VP, I had no idea but did now a little search and you're right, they are married. Hence the association with Fassbinder.
Really intriguing
This one had me fooled I thought it was an outdoors shot until you showed the full picture.
JM!Oh this is so unique! I love the idea of a sculpture in front of another art installation!-Dean
