I am glad you placed yesterday's detail photos into context today.

We visited Sintra and went up tot he Pena Palace when we were in Portugal. It was spectacular, although it was cloudy and foggy on our December day there and we did not have a view from the palace.

Beautiful! The children are much smaller than I thought they would be from yesterday's close up. Love the colors.

This is even more beautiful in its entirety! I am not surprised that this is in Sintra, the magnificent city that is a museum in itself! Thanks for the art you share through your excellent photography! Bravissimo!!!

Beautiful. It is interesting to look very closely, like yesterday, to focus on details, and then to step back, like today, to see and feel the whole impression.

No wonder those poor babies are thirsty---there is no water in the fountain.
Very impressive. the babes are much smaller than I thought. Good idea to post this way. MB
