A good collection of mailboxes.

Good shot! ... Mailboxes of three different colors. I like the roof tiles over the mail boxes. I suppose they kept rain water from getting into the slits. I wonder why number 2 is crossed out?

Oh I love this a lot JM. How great that someone thought to paint them different colors! This might be my fav photo today.

Great set of boxes! The one marked with the X is quite interesting, but I am not sure there is a treasure inside....

Too bad it's abandoned. I like the style of the mailboxes. Great choice for the theme day!

interesting that so much time was taken to construct an overhang to protect the mailboxes from the weather and elements and then to leave the fronts of the mailboxes so rough and rustic looking

I love these boxes. They look as though they served thier purpose very well.

Gorgeous - the mailboxes look as if they are still in use though...

Nice texture and colours !

These go very well with your "decay" photos! With all that rust, I'd guess this place is near the beach...

Que belíssimo pormenor, meu caro!

Rich colors and textures. Maybe the person with the second mailbox was illiterate and could not write his name, so he made his mark with an "X".

This is a very charming scene. I wonder why someone painted the "X" on one of them.

You've shown us many abandoned buildings before. This photo is somehow more poignant.

Tant que le facteur n'est pas daltonien...
Cela fait penser à certains jeux d'éveil, où il faut associer formes et couleurs.

An abandoned mailbox ... now that's something new. I love the colours here.

It is like they all have a secret story to tell....
