The Moorish architecture is a delight, and a target rich environment for photographers. Julie and I love Andalusia for the same reason. And, of course, Morocco continues the architectural tradition today.

Someone above mentioned the word "lacey" and that image certainly does come to mind when looking at this. Such beautiful tile work and such a gorgeous style. I love it.
I find this quite attractive, but wonder what it was used for or how it was used...I mean, was it a place where people came and socialized (the benches)...was it where people came to obtain water or just get a drink? Is the water still potable.
How did I miss this magnificent work of art! This is yet another serendipitous find in Sintra for me, a piece of Alhambra in Portugal! Thanks for sharing this masterpiece!
We need to torture Moscow architects by watching these buildings and their decors. Maybe after 10 hours non-stop looking at this beauty they will learn what architecture means.
