I think that the door is beyond "weathered." It was weathered a decade ago. Perhaps they could take a commission from the market sales at least to stabilize the building so that it does not suffer from more decay.
You are really an excellent photographer...you've made this place and these items works of art! Very well done, JM! The window shot is absolutely gorgeous!
What a lovely place this is! I would love to visit there, but your photos are, as always, the very next best thing to being there myself! Thanks, JM, for sharing the beauty of your world with us! Hope you've had a great weekend and have a wonderful week ahead!
So glad to see an additional post on this market... an interesting juxtaposition of old and new, fresh and decay. What an incredible palace in need of some attention.
It's always a sad thing to see beautiful works of art go to ruin without any means of restoration. Japan who used to help but is no more. How very sad. Thanks for showing them to us before they are totally gone. Beguiling photos!

I wish I could have accompanied you to this market. The shots you've brought away from it are truly wonderful.
A very beautiful window. I love the angle of the shot, and the weathered wood.

That flower covered chandelier is gorgeous! Like nothing I've ever seen here in EAGAN!

This window is beautiful, and, as you say, romantic. The building is a very interesting venue for a market.

I agree exactly with Jacob. Superb photos of a very beautiful old place made so pretty by the goods for sale.
