Marginal Road

Scenic seaside road, built 1940, linking Cascais and Oeiras to downtown Lisbon.
Same spot, different occasions. Obviously! :-)

the sea looks so anxious to take down what man has made.

Forceful wave and spray!

Linda via a beira mar. Muito bom para os dias de engarrafamentos, muito comum aqui no brasil.

Here is the power of the ocean frozen in a moment of time. So many wonderful shades of blue and white and turquoise. Beautiful! I like the way the water slams straight up when it hits the seawall.

The top shot makes me think you had to get wet to take it for us! I hope you had your swimsuit on JM!

What a gorgeous place, JM! Love the water slamming against the sea wall in the second shot, but they're both breathtaking captures! Hope you've had a great weekend!

I guess they did not have any waves like that when they were building the wall.

I like the crashing of waves against the shore. You have captured a spot where the horizontal energy of the sea is converted to a vertical direction much more than the sea coast were our condos are in Costa Rica.

You have captured the movement and feel of the moment in these shots!

I love pics like the second and so I love this pic. It takes some time and patience to actually get them right. The latter is no trait of mine. ;-)

Have a great new week.

I love the first image for the water's color is so refreshing and the second image's powerful splash is exhilirating.

With these wonderful images you just sparked some homesickness!

The sea color against that wall is fabulous. What a road to drive down with that view, I'd have a hard time keeping my eyes on the road!

They re both cool, but the height of the water in the second shot is very impressive. There must have been a pretty nasty storm out to sea that day.

La première photo fait rêver ... presque un monde parallèle. Très, très belle !
