1st of August Sky

Temperature dropped to about 20ºC and it rained a lot. What kind of summer is this?

Looks like an ominous sky! But the rain is good for the flowers and grass!

Dommage pour la pluie, mais quels nuages étonnants - pour un ciel splendide !

A normal one? We've had yo-yo temperatures, yesterday we dropped 20F in 1 hour, but no rain.

I like the patterns in the clouds

I like those dramatic skies, but they can be scary!

I don't know what kind of summer this is. It's uncharacteristically mild and comfortable in my neck of the woods. Not complaining!

Your photograph is incredibly dynamic. I feel like I'm being swept away!

You might as well be in Seattle!! Same kind of summer here, although we are getting a bit of a break. Still, the highs are only in the low to mid 70s!! Have a lovely evening, JM!

We welcome a sky like this, here! You have captured it well, I can almost smell the rain.

I can tell you JM - it's a horrible summer, at least in Poland! It's raining and I don't remember when it was more than 18C! But the sky is pretty:)

Same here. Just posted a video from the storm we had last weekend, end of the world kind of thing.

That doesn't look good and at the same time it looks fabulous.

You know, we went from 2 weeks of *under* 20° to 30° today and the sky tonight is looking a bit like yours...

Amazing clouds. I think it's been hotter here today than with you. That's unusual!

Cá para mim foi a Troika que também cortou no verão ;-)

That may be a cool summer, but it's an awesome sky! (We usually drop below 15ºC here at night, even in the middle of the summer.)

That's a really cool looking sky. It looks like it's yelling at you! I'd take those temps in a heartbeat, we're slowly melting over here!

Apparently it's the summer of Germany. My MiL is so happy to be here in Toronto where it's been sunny!
A fantastic sky in any case. Love the drama.

Where have I been? Sorry, I just missed a bunch of postings! This is one scary sky. Climate change brought on by Global Warming is creating some some pretty wild weather patterns around the world.

I've heard it said that there is no more normal. :-(
