Impressive! Funny, you have a boat post, I have a boat post and I just came from EG in Canada and she had a boat post!

How exciting to watch JM, I remember the thrill when Australia 11 won the America's Cup in 1983 , skippered by John Bertrand, and the Prime Minister then Bob Hawke declared it a public holiday!!

I've head so little about the competition this year. It used to be all over ESPN late night.

I've never see a catamaran lifted that way, very interesting.

It takes a large crew to get one of these sailing machines going.

Interesting scale that creates with the catamaran being lifted by crane. Must have been a huge crane. What a great event to witness.

This is interesting. I wasn't even aware that the Americas Cup was being raced this year.

Looks like fun. I think this event will be held here in San Fran next year. There's a lot of buzz about it already.

Wow -- what a great opportunity to be able to see part of this marvelous race. Those boats are just drop-dead gorgeous! And I love that you showed pictures of the crew working on thelm.

I am with Birdman and Jack - I have heard little about the race this year. Love that 1st shot!

Looks like things have advanced technologically quite a bit since I was last sailing! But I'll bet you had a good time and there will be more photos coming up, right?
