How exciting to watch JM, I remember the thrill when Australia 11 won the America's Cup in 1983 , skippered by John Bertrand, and the Prime Minister then Bob Hawke declared it a public holiday!!
Grande evento? Lindas fotos, to com tanta inveja , vcs tem um lindo sol e céu azul perfeito ai! Aproveite as ferias de verão...aqui tá taoooo estranho esse verão!:( Léia
Wow -- what a great opportunity to be able to see part of this marvelous race. Those boats are just drop-dead gorgeous! And I love that you showed pictures of the crew working on thelm.
Looks like things have advanced technologically quite a bit since I was last sailing! But I'll bet you had a good time and there will be more photos coming up, right?

Quite the boats! It must be really fun to watch the racing!
Oh un bateau qui vole ;) superbes et impressionnantes photos
Impressive! Funny, you have a boat post, I have a boat post and I just came from EG in Canada and she had a boat post!

I've head so little about the competition this year. It used to be all over ESPN late night.
I've never see a catamaran lifted that way, very interesting.
It takes a large crew to get one of these sailing machines going.
Beautiful captures, JM! I would love to see a race like this! Awesome video! Have a lovely evening!

The boat and the first photo are just beyond belief!!
Sensacional. Gostei muito da primeira foto.
You are going to make me drool... ;-)
Interesting scale that creates with the catamaran being lifted by crane. Must have been a huge crane. What a great event to witness.
A wonderful event JM.
Lovely to follow but so expensive to compete in... I can dream.
Fantastic pictures! Looks like the weather was good too.
Wow, wonderful boats!

The first one is awesome!
The thing I liked more in this post is the promising (I) in the title!
This is interesting. I wasn't even aware that the Americas Cup was being raced this year.
Looks like fun. I think this event will be held here in San Fran next year. There's a lot of buzz about it already.

I am with Birdman and Jack - I have heard little about the race this year. Love that 1st shot!
