It seems our definitions on good and bad weather differ. How can anything so beautiful be when rain is the breath of life.

A lot of drama in those clouds, I always thought the rain bringing the clouds down is really interesting.

That bad weather makes for great photos!

I don't know whether I like the sky or the beach better in each photo. I guess I could like both, couldn't I?1

Dramatic skies and a beautiful beach and its that time of year for stormy skies! The light in the last shot is the ray of hope! Marvelous captures as always, JM! Enjoy your weekend!

Have a great weekend.

Just like "decay" you know how to take advantage of nasty weather. It looks like a lot of rain is rolling in from the sea. Hope you didn't get wet!

The weather may be bad, but it makes for some fantastic photos! Love that sky.

Funny, I don't see this as bad weather... more like drama queen weather... changing all the time. Hope you had a lovely walk there, José.

Lovely colors! We are getting a lot of rain off and on here too. Yesterday was a deluge! I like it though. It's a nice change of pace. Looks like this storm is way out to sea at the moment. Hope it doesn't cause any flooding when it makes landfall...

When bad is really spectacular...

I like the reflection of the sky and light in the receding waves of low tide.

Oh, isn't it superb to see a storm sweep across the landscape like that. Talk about 'the power and the glory'! I love the lines in you captured here, Jose. Quite wonderful shots ...

Entendes?

bom resto de fds.

It may mean stormy weather but oh those clouds are beautiful. MB

Sometimes bad weather looks so much better than a clear, blue sky!

JM, even your bad weather is gorgeous!

Thank you for the link re the earthquake and ensuing events. Mind-boggling. I agree with Voltaire's theological reflections...and one would think that the people would begin to wonder about all the theology they had been taught...

But, no. What usually happens with disasters is the survivors praise God for sparing them without reflecting upon a god that would destroy their friends and neighbors for utterly no reason.

Anyway, the article was immensely interesting! Does it ever concern you that such a thing could happen again?

Lovely shots... very dramatic skies!

That's a lovely series. The ocean looks ominous and makes me glad my POV is on something solid.

JM, even your bad weather is gorgeous the way you photograph it. They are like paintings I wish I could create.

Exciting photos. You are lucky to have the expansiveness of the sea to look over.

Your "bad weather" means no sun and our "bad weather" this week may mean.....SNOW!
