JR

JR at the Lisbon & Estoril Film Festival (Nimas Theater)

JR, TED 2011 prize winner, is the mentor of the INSIDE OUT Project I told you about on the Tripod post. His movie "Women Are Heroes", which has been selected to debut at the Cannes Festival, was shown in Lisbon yesterday and it's just AMAZING! Don't miss it if you have the chance. Although I think it doesn't make it justice, here is the trailer.

I don't know this gentleman, so I appreciate the information. And I will certainly try to see the film if it ever comes to Ocala!

I was very impressed by the movie trailer. I will be on the lookout for this film. JR appears to be a very creative artist. We have one theatre in our area (in Scottsdale) that shows foreign and independent films and I probably go to movies there more than any other theatre.
